Q: What sessions do I provide?
A: I’m open to most sessions, but I prefer adventure based photography where we go out on an adventure and I follow you with a camera. I love portrait sessions that make your imagination go wild such as cosplay or costume based location shots, or natural scenery based glamour, couple, and family shots.
Q: Will I do weddings?
A: I am not a professional wedding photographer and really want you to find someone that speaks to you for your wedding because that’s a big decision. That being said, I am comfortable doing weddings and am happy to discuss your wedding if it’s outside or an elopement. I LOVE wedding portraiture, but I am only one person so I cannot usually cover an entire wedding by myself the same way a wedding photography team can do.
Q: How much are my packages?
A: That’s a loaded question because I do this because it’s truly a passion. What does that mean? That means I work with you to figure out a package that works within your budget and within your vision. I decide what I’ll charge you based on many factors including my travel time, the type of session, how long you’ll need me, how specific your needs are, and most importantly: how much fun I’ll have doing the shoot.
Q: So what’s a good starting price?
A: You’ll just have to inquire and find out! Don’t worry, if it doesn’t work out, it doesn’t work out. I will discuss without any obligation and I will not add you on an e-mail list so don’t worry about it if I don’t fit your vision.
Q: What is your style since you post so many random photos that don’t seem to be cohesive?
A: I post what I see. I love taking my camera places and playing with photography tricks and learning new things with my camera. That being said, when it comes to photography delivery I give out a sample for your review before I edit everything so you can choose the editing style you like best. Generally I go for colors that lean more cool and true to the eye. I don’t over edit because pictures should reflect the moment they are taken in. When I dabble in photography sometimes I don’t edit, and sometimes I edit so much you’d never guess what the original image looks like. That’s the fun of photography.
Q: Why should you hire me?
A: I am here for you and to have fun with you. I want to make sure the pictures you look at remind you of a joke, a moment, a smell, or a warm hug you want to re-live. I’m here for you, and my art isn’t in building a brand, but in capturing your moments and your love.
Q: What happens after I fill out the form?
A: I will contact you and quote you a starting price based on the details you leave me (if you leave me enough information to do so).
Q: Then what?
A: Then we discuss and add on / remove things and I’ll give you a final quote and a session contract. Once you fill out the session contract and provide me a deposit, I will add you to my calendar and we go from there! Bookings on my calendar are first to pay deposit, first on the calendar. No deposit, no guaranteed spot.
